I founded cancerbenefit.org in 2005. Click on any cancerbenefit.org or on the picture to access the site.

Currently two charities operate: Abrazos (since 2005) and Firework (since 2013).

Abrazos is a music driven charity that donates 100% of the profits to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Firework is a music dirven charity that donates 100% of the profits to the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.

Abrazos believes in give and take, so instead of simply asking for you to donate money, we ask that you select the song or songs (or records!) that you like on iTunes. Choose from dozens of amazing and generous artists. Buy their songs or gift them to friends and family. Every 99 cent song matters.

cancerbenefit.org works in three important ways:

1. cancer research wins from the profits generated from every song sold on iTunes.

2. fans win because they have access to songs either unavailable anywhere else or they discover artists that they did not know about, and they get something wonderful back for their hard earned money.

3. artists win because they gain an avenue of positive exposure and, in cases of exclusive songs, a way for a song that would otherwise not have had a chance to shine.

Some of the amazing artists that are part of the cancerbenefit.org family:

Nina Gordon, Glen Philips, Adam Cohen, Sleeping At Last, Veruca Salt, Civil Twilight, Howard Jones, Tyler Hilton, The Gufs (featuring Rob Thomas), Fisher, Jen Trynin, Forty Foot Echo, Tara MacLean plus many more.

thank you to every artist who generously shared their music so that cancerbenefit.org could collect funds.

thank you to every person who bought or gifted every 99 cent song in every compilation.

thank you to everyone that fights and fought cancer with such inspiring courage and grace.
